Title: Field Service Specialist

Loc: Silicon Valley, CA
Duties: Plan, execute and/or lead high-thruput DNA Sequencing System
implementation projects and ongoing system maintenance process.
Participate in the on-site installation of these application systems and
assist customers in solving application problems and troubleshoot
instruments through consulting and technical support services.
Assure customer satisfaction by maximizing the availability of the
application system for productive use.
Requirements:
BS/MS Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related
Engineering degree.
Multiple years experience in service delivery activities, preferable
with DNA sequencing or equivalent products.
Process management or project management experience, especially
knowledge transfer, installation process, repair process, and logistics.
Must be customer focused and business oriented. A high degree of
creative thinking and the ability to effectively exercise independent
judgement. Proven leadership, communication and planning skills.
Ability to effectively interact with people and foster teamwork.
Depending on territory, travel 10-50% of the time.
