'electron acceptors/donors' is vague---doesn't that include inorganic
batteries, as well as the electron transfer systems involved with
photosynthesis and oxidative phosphorylation?
In metabolic pathways assosciated with NAD/NADH there are also FAD/FADH2 and
NADP/NADPH.
