I am new to this newsgroup but it seemed like a good place to start. I
am working with Beta 1,3 glucanase in seeds. I have done an assay with
AZCL Pachyman and i have recorded absorbance at 590 nm. Can anyone tell
me how to relate absorbance to the number of micromoles of reducing
sugar equivalents? Also, can someone explain the Nelson/Somogyi
reducing sugar procedure?
