The title of the book is the Danish translation of "The Rain in Spain"
from the musical "My Fair Lady". The book is (mostly) about semantics
and its relations to biology.
Hoffmeyer talks about a "semiosphere" as yet another sphere (bio-, atmo-
etc.).
