Technical question!
Is it true that when perfoming lab tests for Chlamydia LPS antigen using
"female" swabs, extraction buffers, and reaction tubes (eg. microtitre
plates) that only certian plastic would suffice?
I have been told that I should use polyethylene tubes and NOT
polypropylene! Glass is okay!
Apparently the LPS "sticks" to some plastics???!!!
Is this true? Are there any references?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
