E.Coli alkaline phosphatase (phoA) is a commonly used reporter gene in
bacterial expression systems. Does anybody know if phoA is also
functional in eukaryotes ? Is an antibody available against phoA which
has been shown to work in eukaryotic cells e.g. for immunofluorescence ?
