Can anyone tell me what to dissolve sulfathiazole in and what the stock
concentration and typical working concentrations for selection are? I
want to check the sulfonamide resistance gene in plasmid RSF1010 carried
in E. coli. Are there any problems with using sulfonamide resistance as
a selectable marker for plasmids? Thanks for any help.
