Can anyone help me? I need to know how microbiota are exposed to metals
in soils - i.e. do they take up metals only from the soil solution or
can they obtain them from solid phases also (adsorbed ions for
example)? Also will microbes only be exposed to free metal ions or are
complexed species available to them as well?
