Hi,
I've been trying to isolate Sulfur reducing bacteria from a mixed
culture (from acid mine drainage). I tried to isolate colonies using
Iverson's and Postgate's E media under anaerobic conditions but haven't
been able to get black colonies yet.
Does anyone know of a media/procedure that would work? I would
appreciate any suggestions regarding growth and cultivation of SRB's.
