Collegues,
I would like to extract total DNA from soil slurry reactor and I
especially interested in the gram-positive segment of the microbial
community. Is it known whether DNA is harder to extract from
gram-positive organisms and spores, or will normal procedures work
well? Do you recommend lysozyme use?
Any references would be much appreciated.
