I am looking for opportunities for a postdoctoral position in
bacteriology. I am currently trying to finish my PhD in Biology in the
Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My
project focusses on the microbiology and molecular biology of avirulence
and virulence factors of plant pathogenic bacteria. I also have a
Master's degree in Food Microbiology so I am familiar with working with
foodborne pathogens as well.
Some of my interests include bacterial siderophores, molecular
diagnostics for identification, and the influence of the environment on
pathogenicity.
