I am all ears for those who have suggestions for speakers for the Northern California
Association of Public Health Microbiologists spring meeting to be held at Sonoma State
University (California) on April 26, 1997. We do pay for out-of-state speakers. Did
you hear any good talks at the national ASM meeting in New Orleans or perhaps you saw
someone on T.V. Our last meeting covered T.B. in Tanzania (Dr.Charles Daley),
Meningococcal disease in West Africa (Dr. Arthur Rheingold), Disease Update in Bosnia
(Dr. Michael Ascher), Water Quality on Islands of the south pacific (Dr. Rick Danielson)
and the Diphtheria epidemic in the Russian Federation (Dr. Kris Bisgard). Diagnostics
also make a good topic. Thank you!
