Dean,

HIV is often found the CNS of infected individuals.  The virus enters 
the CNS through monocytes and lymphocytes early in infection, and 
often results in clinical symptoms such as AIDS-related dementia, etc. 
at some point during the disease.
I'm not familiar with pyrazinamide as a treatment, but I don't know 
that there is any effective treatment for HIV-related diseases.
