Moisture removal

Dear Netters,

I am trying to do couple of exp where I would like to reduce the
moisture/water content in a media plate. I am not sure if this is
possible ( I could calculate the levels by using say Karl Fischer)
but I would like to do it by adding a sterile chemical/resin which
would soak up the water. Is there any methods or can anyone suggest
something?
