Yeasts, dangerous?

Histoplasma can produce fatal infection in humans.
Candida in humans (part of the normal flora) can produce serious
infections (normally in immunocompromised patients or those treated with
antibacterial agents - 4 days of tetracycline is a good way to produce
oral thrush). Don't know whether guinea pigs have yeasts in their normal
flora.
