Promega kit ACCESS RT-PCR will work with bacterial RNA. I isolate using the Aiba hot phenol method.
First strand synthesis with the Pharmica cDNA cloning kit will also work.
The only problem you may have is too many bands but you just have
to play around with primers and annealing temps.
