Hi,
I recently received a freeze-dried culture of Iodobacter
fluviatile from ATCC. The recommended medium is "3" which
is Nutrient Agar. To grow this culture in liquid medium,
can I just use nutrient *broth*?
Sorry, I am kind of unfamiliar with these rich media. I
am used to using mineral medium (growing methanogens,
SRB, and syntrophic VFA degraders). I know this should
be much easier, but I don't want to screw it up!
Please respond via email, since I check it more frequently
than this newsgroup.
Thanks very much in advance!
