Hi there one and all
I have very little microbiology experience. I have been using MRS
broth for some lactic acid bacteria. Once I have made the broth
according to instructions and have allowed it to stand for a few days
in a tube, something looking like blue crystals or particulate matter
appears at the surface.
Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Can I use the broth
safely?
All answers appreciated.
