The Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis at The University of
Queensland is conducting trials of a new and innovative service for
external clients.
Virtually every science discipline employs electron microscopes to image
materials and to characterise them. Though these materials can be
prepared for imaging and analysis without the need for client
involvement, the actual microscopy and microanalysis benefits enormously
from active participation by the client.
NOW WE CAN PERFORM THESE FUNCTIONS FOR YOU WHILE YOU SIT COMFORTABLY AT
YOUR OWN COMPUTER, WATCHING AND GUIDING EVERY STEP OF THE PROCESS!
Using the Internet you can now actively participate in the imaging and
analysis of your specimens with free videoconferencing software (for Mac
or PC) called CU-SeeMe.
It doesn't matter where you are in the world - if you are on the internet
then you can connect LIVE to us at CMM and get actively involved in
either private or multi-party sessions.
