I have been getting mixed facts about the specificity of streptomycin.
Most micro textbooks say it is a narrow spectrum gram negative
inhibitor, while people working in tissue culture say it is effective
against both gram negatives and gram positives.
At a concentration of 1 mg per mL, is streptomycin inhibitory to G-'s or
both G-'s and G+'s? (in a soil slurry)
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
