Can anyone tell me if it is possible to obtain reliable cell counts for
C. perfringens. I would like to conduct heat stress studies, but I'm
finding that spread plating and spot plating do not produce consistent
numbers. What suggestions do you have? I am considering using a
fluoresent staining procedure to count cells directly, but would like to
stick with the plates. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
