It depends on what you're looking for. If the strain was listed in a
recent paper then write the authors. Usually there is no charge for
this. Another possibility is the ATCC catalogs (available on internet at
atcc homepage). The cost will vary but a price list is available at that
site too. Also, you might try to contact the E. coli genetic stock
center (Yale?) also on the internet. Good luck!
