Space is still available in a three day TB workshop scheduled for
December 12-14, 1995 at the Texas Department of Health. This workshop
includes lectures and demonstrations emphasizing laboratory procedures for
the isolation, identification and drug susceptibility testing of
Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the non-tuberculosis Mycobacterium. In
addition to conventional techniques, the newer genetic probes and HPLC
applications will be presented. This workshop will be of interest to
laboratorians working at all levels of mycobacteriological service.
