Brucella - long lasting effects

     There is much of experience and literature concerning the long lasting 
     effects of Brucella infection.
     I am, since some time, penetrating the whole concept of Brucella; and I 
     do also have personal experience of suffering from brucellosis ten years 
     ago (lumbo-sacral disco-spondylitis with an intraspinal abscess).

I am trying to find out if anyone knows of long lasting effects of a Brucella 
infection; such as joint pain, decreased serotonin levels, fibromyalgia, etc.
