Hello,
does anybody know a chemically defined medium (CDM) for group A
streptococci (GAS) ?
The only information I've got is an article of the year 1980 containing
all the ingredients listed with their appropriate concentrations, but I
think (I hope !) there must be any readily available medium.
A first attempt with DMEM failed and unfortunately the products "BioRich
1" and "BioRich 2" (DMEM enriched with trace elements) from ICN are not
available for me at the moment.
