Hello, I need help on regulation of the synthesis of the various kinds of
hemoglobin chains during human development. If you could come up with a
mechanism wich would explain :1) the initiation of synthesis of the mRNA
for the gamma chain of hemoglobin at one month after conception, and
20the cessation of synthesis of the gamma chain mRNA and the simultaneous
initiation of the synthesis of beta chain mRNA at birth. The mechanism
should contain sufficient detail to demonstrate a full understanding of
the process of gene regulation in prokaryotes. If you could help me out, not
