Quite a few years ago there were several letters in the ASM News
Magazine that delt with Methane gas being produced by bacteria in the gut
of dragons which in the presence of a knight's metal sword striking and
producing a spark ignited the gas into a flame.
Being a student at the time, I found the discussion amusing.
