The First Asian-Pacific 
Marine Biotechnology Conference (APMBC 95)

First Announcement

The APMBC 95   will be held at SHIMIZU, SHIZUOKA, 
JAPAN from 12-14 SEPTEMBER 1995. The aim of the conference 
is to provide a forum where different aspects of marine 
biotechnology can be presented and discussed in a pleasant 
and open scientific atmosphere in the marine biotech-oriented 
city of Shimizu.  The international organizing committee of this conference invites participation from all countries, in order 
to make APMBC 95 a successful and scientifically profitable 
meeting.

Major topics of the conference are as follows:

1. Algal Biotechnology
2.Environmental Biotechnology
3.Marine Natural Products
4.Algal Biotechnology
5. Marine Microbial Ecology and Physiology
6.Interdisciplinary Marine Biotechnology

Deadline for abstract submission is JUNE 15, 1995.
