Does anyone have any experience with recovery of Proprionibacterium acnes
from human sources using blood agar vs trypticase soy agar. I am
performing studies which indicate that TSA with lecithin and tween is
somewhat inhibitory compared to blood agar recovery. I believe the
neutralizers are inhibiting the organism's growth but I would like to know
if anyone has any good comparative information relative to TSA without the
neutralizers.
