I've recently written some interactive virology tutorials. Anyone is
welcome to access these at the following URL:
http://www-micro.msb.le.ac.uk/Tutorials/VirTut.html
I've tried two different styles: the "Panama Puzzle" type, which is
supposed to be fun as well as informative but is not intended for
assessment, and the "Virus Replication" type. I've tried to build a
format for assessment into this latter one. I'd welcome your opinion as
to what you think of this & if you can think of a better way of
structuring this to get students to hand something in WITHOUT INVOKING
ANY SCRIPTS. Specifically, how could I monitor an individual students
progress through this type of tutorial (i.e. how many right vs. wrong
choices).
Has anyone else tried anything similar to this or have any ideas of
other/better ways to do this?
