Hello!
Growing at higher temperature, E.coli metabolism suffers from
major changes, resulting in reduced growth rate and acetate
secretion (with glucose as substrate) etc. More over heat shock
proteine production imposses a further burden.
Did anybody try to modells this effects methematically?
If you'd know recent reviews on molecular mechanism, your
hint will be welcome, too.
