Hi,
I'm a MS studient at the Catholic University of Santiago Chile. My thesis
is in modeling bioremediation in groundwater contaminated with
hidrocarbons. To model the biodegradation I'm using the monod equations
modified to include oxigen and hidrocarbon (as used in Borden & Bedient).
I have found some dificulties, such as estimating the ratio between the
micro-organism in the solution and the ones adsorbed. But the main problem
I have is estimating what may be the monod constants for degradation of
Benzene (which I'm using to test my model), does anyone know where I could
find some numbers? (so I could use them as a starting point).
