Anyone know of a specific antibiotic with broad-range
effectiveness against lactobacilli? We are trying
to isloate certain gram negative organisms from
the GI tract of mice. The organisms are resistant
to ampicillin and most aminoglycosides, though
I would prefer not to use aminoglycosides in the
media.
