Faculty position: Food safety/molecular microbiology
Rutgers University's Department of Food Science seeks an Assistnat
Professor to conduct research and teach microbiological safety of
foods; obtain external support for research; advise students; and
provide service within the University and discipline. The incumbent
may also participate in the Microbiology or Biochemistry Graduate
programs. A Ph.D. in Food Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or
closely related field; experience in molecular biology/genetics; and
exceptional promise for independent research and teaching are
required. Candidates should have post-doctoral experience, excellent
communication skills and the ability to work as a team member. U.S.
citizenship or permanent visa required. This tenure track, 70%
research/30% teaching appointment has a target start date of September
1, 1995. Submit a curriculum vitae, transcripts, copies of
