What's a good reference for the infectious load (fungi per ml or per gram or
per organ or per organism) of serious systemic Candida infection? Would it
ever get to 10e9 per mouse? I've seen numbers for S. aureus endocarditis
vegetations as high as 1 e10/gram; what's the level for fungal vegetations?
