I am a clinical microbiologist of 25 years and have used many of the
commercial systems at one time or another. The API system works well and
is relatively inexpensive. I presently use MicroScan and find it
excellent. Because its primary use is susceptibility testing, it is more
expensive. Enterotube worked less well for me, but I have not used it for
many years and it may have improved.
