Does anyone out there have a good feeling (or better still a reference)
for the specific growth rates of facultative anaerobes growing
anaerobically? I can't seem to find much literature on the subject. I
am of the impression that anaerobic growth rates are on the order of
70% of the aerobic specific growth rates, for the same carbon source.
I am specifically interested in denitrifiers.
