I was wondering if they have tested the girl for any sort of immune
defect like leukocyte adhesion deficiency (LAD I and II). While these
particular syndromes present with a host of other problems and are not
the likely cause, perhaps in checking for the organsim, they are
examining the wrong end of the problem. The girl may have some immune
deficiency resulting in her being unable to stop what should be a trivial
infection.Just a thought.
