Does anyone know of any references to the vitamin content of soil ? I have
found a paper on the vitamin content of sludge (Water Res. 28(3)737, 1994),
but cannot find an equivilant paper for soil . Does anyone know of any data
that support the frequently repeated statement that soil bacteria supply
each other with vitamins and other nutrients. I am not a soil
microbiologist and perhaps these are trivial questions, but my searching has
not been fruitful.
