I have no idea what the best lab techniques are for testing for C.
difficile, but the consequences of missing an infection can be deadly.
My mother lost her colon to a C. difficile infection and my brother had
a smal piece of his removed. Both infections were a direct
consequence of treating other infections with Keflex.
Is it true that Keflex has been withdrawn from the market because of
the high incidence of C. difficile infections resulting from its use?
