We are working with a strain of Pasteurella multocida in which we are
interested in studying amino acid metabolism. In order to do this, we
need a minimal or a chemically defined medium. We have tried using the
published media recipes from Wessman and Wessman, and also from Watko et
al., but this strain will not grow on either one. Does anyone out there
have a minimal medium recipe that will support the growth of P. multocida
other than those published?
