The Diagnostics prototype newsgroup is a bionet group which
may be of interest to Microbiology readers. Diagnost is a forum for
discussion of techniques used for the detection and identification
of pests and pathogens. It covers the full range of diagnostic methods
and useful cross-fertilization is achieved by the contributions of
workers from the plant, vet and medical fields, who use similar
techniques (monoclonals, PCR etc).
