I am seeking references/citations on the modification of bacterial mem-
brane lipid composition via incorporation of exogenous fatty acids from the
medium into cytoplasmic membranes. (I am NOT interested in references relat-
ing to the modification of bacterial membrane lipid composition via tempera-
ture manipulation or solvent addition to the medium.) If anyone can supply
me with relevant references/citations, kindly send them to me at
