tableadmin hanging

Hi,

tableadmin is hanging on me.

It gets called as the first thing in genetics.ksh which means GCG never
finishes initialising. 

I have one machine that it works fine on.

both machines are SGIs running IRIX 6.5 - it is GCG 10.2


Any ideas?
