My Sun Enterprise 450 shipped on Friday (finally) and so I'll try to run
your tests on it as well once I have it running. I know you really
aren't interested in the E450 but it might make a nice addition to your
page.
BTW, I don't know if I mentioned it but Sun had a special deal price on
the E450 which dropped our price by $15,000. Unfortunately the same
deal wasn't true for the E3500. The 1 GB memory, 36 GB hard drive, 4 -
400 MHz processors E450 came to $30,552. I'll add in another 3 GB of
3rd party memory and 72 GB of 3rd party hard drives and will still have
money left over for other workstations, more drives, etc.
