WI Bioinformatics Support Position at GCG

Genetics Computer Group, Inc. is seeking a biologist to join our 
highly regarded technical support team. Based in Madison, our 
team provides assistance to the worldwide community of scientists 
that use GCG's Wisconsin Package and Oxford Molecular's OMIGA and
MacVector products for sequence analysis.  Technical support is 
diverse and challenging and may include system management; 
experimental design; and assistance with software improvements, 
and QA testing.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in molecular biology or 
related field; experience with sequence analysis; knowledge of  
Windows 95, Windows NT, UNIX and  Macintosh systems; strong
interpersonal and communication skills; and strong problem-solving
abilities. Experience with MacVector, OMIGA, GCG's Wisconsin Package,
UNIX operating systems, Xwindows and terminal emulation software is 
desirable. Programming experience is not required, but knowledge of 
C, Fortran, or PERL is beneficial.
