We would like to abstract portions of a large number of sequences from the
databases, but have ground to a halt. We have made a list file that lists
each database entry and the sequence range (using begin:aaa end:bbb).
However if we fetch @list the full length sequence is retrieved.
We know that list is working normally with pileup (for example), so can we
retrieve (or create) partial sequences with GCG tools?
If it is not possible with GCG, can it be done with SRS or similar tool?
Thanx.
