Well...
If you cannot/will not use Xwindows, and you can do without seqlab,
you might consider using a WWW interface to gcg. WWW2GCG (from
ftp://alize.ulb.ac.be) and W2H (from http://industry.ebi.ac.uk/w2h/)
allow you to use most (E)GCG programs, and give you the graphics
as gif images.
