I have heard of one site running it successfully. We are currently
waiting for our Origin 200 (4x R10k/180) to arrive.

I have noticed on comp.sys.sgi.* that some Origin owners are having
problems with NFS, although this seems to be a problem only with very
early machines, and they now ship with a newer NFS (assuming you
order it at all).

We did Pearson fasta searches on an Indigo2 with a single 195MHz
R10k, and compared them with identical searches on an AlphaServer 2100
5/250. The results were more or less identical.

Tim.
