Does someone know of a software that aligns nucleic acids using
an already existing multiple sequence alignment of their protein
translations as guide ?
The only one I know is "makeinf" which is distributed as unsupported
addition to the PHYLIP package. It is however difficult to use since
it does not accept any of the common formats like GCG MSF, PHYLIP
interleaved or PAUP Nexus.
